Details
How the program actually works
Tacoma Power's rebate program is one of the most generous per-equipment in the PNW for moderate-income households. Their territory covers Tacoma + parts of Pierce, King, Mason, and Pierce counties. Some programs (heat pumps especially) have income tiers that scale rebate amount based on household income relative to AMI. The Energy Conservation Code Compliance reviews are done in-house by TPU staff.
Stacking
Can you combine this with other programs?
Stacks with federal 25C and HEEHRA. Income-tier rebates may exceed PSE-equivalent amounts for moderate-income households.
